“Throughout my childhood, my family always encouraged my love of animals. Growing up, I always had pets in my life. From cats and dogs to toads and horses, I have always surrounded myself with as many animals as possible. I loved every aspect of being around animals and often volunteered at my local stables for extra time with the animals around the property. As an adult with sadly no pets of their own, working with bwd has been a fantastic opportunity to meet and work with all the furry friends of Ottawa. I truly love being able to explore and get to know different areas of the city. It's important for me to always be learning- I’ve gained so much knowledge regarding pet care through working at bwd and I’m so excited to continue my journey here.”
