Who is this for?
Best suited for dogs with coats that are at risk of tangling, packing, or matting if not properly maintained.
This includes many double-coated breeds, longer coats, and dogs that require consistent grooming to stay comfortable and tangle-free.
Regular grooming helps maintain coat condition, manage shedding, and keep your dog comfortable between appointments. Recommended frequency is every 4–8 weeks depending on coat type, lifestyle, and whether Brushouts are used between full grooms.

If your dog’s quicks are overgrown, regular maintenance is required to gradually encourage them to recede. This typically involves nail trimming and dremeling every two weeks, which can be difficult to maintain consistently without support.
This package is designed to improve long-term nail health through a structured maintenance schedule.
What’s included?
The MEDIcure Package includes 6 (six) nail maintenance visits for one pet.
Each visit includes:

Dremel to expose the quick
Service performed from our fully equipped, climate-controlled mobile grooming van at your location
We come to you for convenience and consistency.

Visits expire after 10 weeks from the date of first service. This service is not flexible. We will schedule all six visits two weeks apart on your behalf. Appointments subject to change without notice. Entry methods recommended.

Charges for special circumstances:
Dematting – $1/minute
Matting must be removed prior to bathing to ensure proper cleaning and protect the skin. This process requires additional time and increases wear on grooming equipment.
Where dematting is necessary, this fee will be applied. Coat condition is assessed at the start of the appointment and confirmed with you before proceeding.
Prevention:
Routine maintenance appointments between full grooms help prevent matting and reduce overall grooming time and stress.
Vaccination & Illness Policy
Proof of up-to-date vaccinations is required for all pets in accordance with legal and safety standards. Pets not yet eligible for vaccination may be accommodated at our discretion.
If a pet becomes unwell during the appointment and the service cannot continue safely, grooming will be stopped and a Biohazard Cleaning Fee ($25) will be applied.
Prevention:
Ensure your pet has eliminated prior to the appointment and reschedule if any signs of illness are present.
Groomer’s Helper – $15
Applied when an additional handler is required to safely complete the service. This is determined solely at our discretion based on temperament and handling requirements.
Prevention:
Consistent grooming schedules help maintain tolerance for handling and reduce the likelihood of requiring additional support.

Each appointment is completed by one professional groomer, supported by a second team member who handles driving, pet collection, drop-off, and client communication as needed. This ensures a smooth mobile dog grooming experience from start to finish.
This mobile dog grooming service allows pets to be groomed conveniently at home without travel stress.

You can request a grooming appointment at any time through the Bwd Petcare app.
Due to high demand for mobile dog grooming services, we recommend booking in advance and including a few preferred dates in your request notes. This helps us schedule efficiently based on location and availability.
We do not charge last-minute request fees for grooming services.

After each appointment, our team will provide a recommended schedule based on your dog’s coat condition and maintenance needs both in person and in your report card.

Yes. Many of our mobile dog grooming clients are not home during appointments.
We can safely collect dogs using secure entry instructions such as lockboxes, keypads, or concierge access.
For first-time clients, we recommend being home for the initial appointment to ensure your dog is comfortable with the process and access instructions are confirmed.
(Note: We do not collect cats. Cat grooming appointments require the owner to be present.)

Yes. All dogs over 16 weeks of age must have proof of up-to-date, vet-recommended vaccinations.
Puppies under 16 weeks may be accepted depending on individual risk and handling considerations.
Rabies vaccination is legally required in Ontario, and vaccinations help ensure a safe environment for all pets and staff during mobile grooming appointments.

We require at least 48 hours notice for any cancellations or appointment changes.
Late cancellations or missed appointments may be charged the full service fee prior to rebooking.

Your appointment time is confirmed in advance with a confirmation call from the office during the week of your scheduled visit.
We operate on arrival windows rather than exact times, as mobile grooming routes are planned based on geography and daily scheduling.
Our support team member will arrive using your provided entry instructions and coordinate pet collection on site.
If we are unable to access your home at the scheduled time, the appointment may be considered missed and the service fee may still apply.

Dry shampoo is a light-cleaning option used for dogs who are anxious with bathing or sensitive to dryer noise.
It is best for surface-level refreshes or between full grooming appointments, rather than as a replacement for bathing.
It may also be used following coat work such as brushouts or dematting to remove residual debris from the coat.
